Propeller Repairs

Have you run aground and damaged a propeller, rudder, skeg or shaft? At Ingot Marine we have a propeller repair service that includes all parts of your underwater propulsion system. We can remove the damaged part from your vessel and bring it back to our premises. We will inspect the damage and advise you if your propeller, rudder, skeg or shaft, can be repaired. Of course, if it is damaged beyond repair, we will provide you with a new product and come and refit it for you.

Australasian Institute of Marine Surveyors (AIMS)

The Australasian Institute of Marine Surveyors is the largest industry body in the Australasian region for professional marine surveyors and their cross sector colleagues.

The Boating Industry Association (BIA)

The Boating Industry Association was launched in February 2011 to represent the boating industry in Australia to all stakeholders with the potential to impact the sector. As the principal advocate for the boating industry, BIAA is the national focus for relationships with state and federal governments, user groups, other marine industry bodies, associated industry sectors, international agencies and standards and regulatory organisations. BIAA works in partnership with a number of stakeholders to strengthen the message of the boating industry and related stakeholders, including boating and fishing associations.

Bureau Veritas Maritime Industry

As a classification society, Bureau Veritas assesses ships for conformity with specific sets of rules, mainly determining structural soundness and reliability of machinery on-board. We also provide ship and marine equipment certification on behalf Flag administrations. Additional services based on our expertise include consultancy, technical assistance and training. Through these activities, we contribute to global maritime safety and help protect the marine environment.

Superyacht Australia

Established in 1999, Superyacht Australia (formally known as Superyacht Base Limited) was formed to develop a superyacht industry for Australia and to establish Australia as a preferred destination for the world’s fleet of luxury yachts.

In January 2012, SYBA (Superyacht Australia), the peak body for the Australian Superyacht sector, merged with the Australian International Marine Export group, the peak body for the marine export sector.  AIMEX set up a Superyacht division and has appointed a committee of Superyacht industry representatives to drive the issues affecting this sector.
