Propeller Shaft Bearings
Ingot Marine’s propeller shaft bearings are suitable for:
- pleasure boats
- large workboats
- ferries
- yachts and superyachts.
Quality marine cutless bearings allow abrasive particles to pass over the shaft surface into water-lubricated rubber grooves.
Water becomes a lubricant, between the shaft and bearing surface. A hydrodynamic wedge is created as water moves between the propeller shaft and the bearing.
