Naval BRASS BEARING 2″ – 2 7/8″
Suitable for use in industries such as marine, hydropower, offshore drilling, mining, petrochemical, water purification and sanitation.
Naval Brass Bearings 2″-2 7/8″
- The corrosion-resistant tough naval brass outer sleeve has been machined and polished for a perfect fit.
Interior nitrile rubber is resistant to wear and abrasion. - The natural resilience of rubber gives the bearings shock, vibration and noise absorbing properties.
- Chemical and oil resistant, the nitrile rubber strips are shaped to form a hydrodynamic water wedge between the shaft and bearing, even at low speeds.
Water lubricated marine bearings
Water being the perfect lubrication medium, is naturally abundant around marine vessels. Non-compressible and cooling, water has a low coefficient of friction when between the bearing and propeller shaft.
Custom sizes
Ingot Marine supplies a comprehensive range of standard naval brass marine bearings including sizes 3/4″-1 7/8″ through 3″-4 7/8″.

Marine Bearing Construction
The external naval brass shell has been machined and polished to provide easy fitting, bonding techniques developed to ensure that the strength of the bond to the shell is at least equal to the strength of the rubber itself.
Wear & Abrasion
All water lubricated marine bearings will experience wear, inspect bearings for wear whenever service is required.
PHENOLIC Marine BEARINGS
Ingot Marine offers non-metallic water-lubricated bearings that are resistant to corrosion and offer nonconductivity to avoid electrolysis.
Phenolic Bearings are available for purchase in the following sizes 3/4″-1 7/8″, 2″-2 7/8″ and 3″-4 7/8″.
