BOLT DOWN ENGINE MOUNT
IsoFlex Bolt down engine mounts come supplied with 2 x flat washers and 1 x spring washer.
Not supplied are base bolts. Fine-tuning adjustment may require the use of shims. Stainless steel fittings are available on request.
Selecting Top Core Element
Each IsoFlex Bolt Down Engine Mount is modular, with five possible top cores from which to choose. The core is selected based on the weight on the mount and the corresponding level of deflection.
Once the assembly weight is known the load on each mount can be determined by dividing the total assembly weight by the number of engine mounts. The resiliency of each top-core element under load is displayed as a coloured line on the load chart and found on each engine mount datasheet. (sample graph is shown below)

Isoflex bolt down engine Mounts
The IsoFlex bolt down marine engine mounts, a fail-safe captured design, are intended for industrial marine, engine and machinery applications.
Bolt down engine mounts, fitted with a patented 360-degree integral thrust ring for enhanced stability. All metal components are zinc-plated to ASTM B633 SC3 standard.
The bolt length required is dependent on the application. Supplied is a standard length bolt. Allow a minimum of 1 x bolt diameter and maximum 1.5 x bolt diameter into the mount.
Rigorously tested, with Det Norske Veritas type approval.
Marine Engine Mount Materials
There are no rubber components in an IsoFlex adjusting marine engine mount, made of high-quality engineering, Polyurethane elastomers and high tensile metals. Superior resistance to degradation in hostile environments, all-metal components are marine alloy, stainless steel and zinc plated carbon steel to ASTM B633 SC3 standards.
