DOUBLE CORE ENGINE MOUNT
IsoFlex double engine mounts, suited for boats and yachts with V Drive engines, have been fitted with a patented integral thrust ring for enhanced stability. All metal components are marine alloy, stainless steel and zinc plated carbon steel to ASTM B633 SC3 standard.
Not supplied are base bolts, stainless steel fittings are available on request, and swivel adjusters fitted to 20mm and 24mm studs on most mounts.
Selecting Top Core Element
Each IsoFlex Marine Engine Mount is modular, allowing you to order one of five different top cores, each with a different durometer. Each unique top-core produces a specific vibration isolation characteristic. The shape and durometer of each top-core maximize vibration isolation and load-carrying capability.
Once the engine assembly weight is known the load on each mount can be determined by dividing the total assembly weight by the number of engine mounts. The resiliency of each top-core element under load is displayed as a coloured line on the load chart and found on each engine mount datasheet. (sample graph is shown below)

Isoflex Double engine Mounts
Designed for applications where high weight or high thrust load applications occur, IsoFlex double or bridge marine engine mounts may be used in situations where six-mount systems had been installed previously. These marine engine mounts allow for easier adjustments, are more accurate and provide added stability for V drive engines.
